Realme X50 5G Launched with 120Hz Panel and 765G 5G Chipset
After an array of teasers, Realme X50 5 G was finally launched. At an event in China, Realme took the blinds off the Realme X50 5G. Realme has become the latest manufacturer to launch a cost-effective 5G handset in 2020. In addition to supporting 5G, the new smartphone comes with the newest Android 10 OS. The phone is the company’s first to run the new Realme UI as well. The Chinese company also announced next to it the Realme Buds Air with a price tag of 369 Yuan (~$53).
Realme X50 5G Specifications
The X50 5G has a 6.57-inch IPS LCD 20:9 aspect ratio and a selfie camera with dual punch hole a 16MP Primary sensor and an Ultrawide 8MP sensor. Probably the biggest draw for the phone is the display with a 120Hz refresh rate, which results in a screen-to-body ratio of 90.4%. The handset weighs 202 grams and is 163.8 x 75.8 x 8.9 mm in thickness. In-addition, The display also features a resolution of FHD+ (2400 x 1080) and protection of Gorilla Glass 5.
Processor and Memory
With regard to the core configuration, the Realme X50 is equipped with a 7 nm + EUV process technology Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 G SoC. It features 8mm liquid-cooled copper pipe 3.0 for improved heat dissipation. The chipset also comes with a built-in 5G modem, supporting most 5G networks in targeted markets. With either 128GB or 258GB of UFS 2.1 memory, the handset comes in a choice of 6GB, 8GB, and 12GB LPDDR4x RAM options. No matter which choice you choose, you won’t be short of memory.
On the Back, Realme X50 5G comes equipped with the quad-camera setup with a combination of 64MP f/1.8 primary Samsung GW1 sensor, 8MP 119 Degree Ultrawide lens, 12MP telephoto lens for 20x hybrid zoom and 2MP macro sensor. Features like a dual-LED flash, 20x hybrid zoom, UIS and UIS Max video stabilization, 4K vidéo recording with 30fps and 960fms slow-motion capture are available for users.
A big, 4200mAh battery is in the Realme X50 5G and should be used for you for one full day, as charging 30W VOOC Flash 4.0 promises up to 70% in just 30 minutes. However, the fingerprint sensor is not on the back. But it present on the side. Also, it features Dolby Atmos, Hi-Res audio certification. In addition to the specs, Realme X50 5G comes with two colour options – Polar and Glacier.
The Master Edition
The two-tone Realme X50 5G Master Edition has been designed by a well-known Japanese manufacturer. The designer has designed lines and dots cut with a traditional indium plate process to achieve an attractive metal lustre. It is supplied with RAM 12GB and native storage 256 GB.
