Xiaomi’s VP Lu Weibing shares a video of Redmi K30 5G running at 144Hz refresh rate
The Redmi K30 4G and Redmi K30 5G smartphone were launched last month. Both phones are currently sold in China as the cheapest smartphones with 120Hz displays. But, now these numbers are changed from 120Hz to 144Hz. Because A video of the Redmi K30 5G screen running at 144Hz was released by Xiaomi VP Lu Weibing.
The 120Hz display of Redmi K30 5G can support 144Hz seamlessly, possibly via a software update. Therefore, a company may support the refresh rate of 144Hz in the near future, through an update. Weibing shared the above video at a time when major companies are ready to launch flagship phones such as the Galaxy S20 series and the 120 Hz refresh rate lineup OnePlus 8. And also, few hours after Nubia president Ni Fei confirmed that the coming Red Magic 5G phone had a 144Hz refresh rate display.
Today on the home market, Redmi will start selling 6GB of RAM + 64GB storage and 6GB of RAM + 128GB storage models of Redmi K30 5G. Currently, these versions have 1.999 Yuan (~$290) and 2.299 Yuan (~$333) prices. While the phone is available in Deep Sea Blue and Deep Ocean Glitter colours.
