In December, the Huawei P40 render had already been leaked, and now the phone’s new render has been shared in detail by 91Mobiles. The render shows the design and bump for triple cameras on the back of the device. The front is also fascinating and shows a flat screen with a pill shaped punch hole in which the dual front selfie cameras are mounted. The measurement of screen should be 6.2 inches or above.
In the rear of the device there is a triple camera system, together with a two-tone dual-LED flash system, in a rectangular frame. The rumor mill claims a main camera + 3D ToF sensor. The third camera has a lens of 80mm telephoto (3x Zoom), if however the text below the camera as viewed in the rendering is to be assumed. As was seen on previous premium Huawei phones, the popular Leica branding on the P40 will also be intact. As shown in the picture, the camera bump stands a little out of of the frame of the phone.
The render also shows power and volume buttons on the right hand side of the device, where the USB-C port is housed and the speaker is located at the bottom. Unfortunatly, We don’t see a 3.5 mm headphone jack anywhere.
The Kirin 990 chipset will power the Huawei P40 (probably the 5G version) and it will use Android 10 and replace Google with Huawei Mobile Services. The P40 and P40 Pro are to be launched in March and will be very different from each others.
