New Motorola phone with 5000 mAh battery certified by FCC

At least four new smartphones are expected to be announced by Motorola in a special event in Barcelona on 23 February. We should see the launch of the flagship Moto G8, G8 Play, Edge+ and an unspecified mid-ranger with a stylus. But, now the new Motorola phone likely Moto Z5 was approved by the FCC and packs a battery bigger than any of its predecessors.

The FCC report reveals that the Moto Z5 will have a battery capacity of 5000mAh. Compared with the Moto Z4’s 3600mAh battery, that is a significant boost in battery capacity. In addition, the Moto Z5 can work with existing Moto Mods, which means you can have a phone with a battery capacity of over 7000mAh if you pick up a Moto Power Pack Moto Mod with a battery capacity of 2220 mAh.
