The new Honor Band 5i was launched in China on Tuesday alongside the Honor 20 Lite (Youth Edition). It’s a slightly cheaper, largely unchanged model option. A USB plug and charge design are provided in the fitness wearable. The Honor Band 5i can be charged simply by plugging it into a USB port, as do many other fitness trackers with a proprietary charging connector for charging them.
The Honor Band 5i features a full-color TFT display with a resolution of 80 x 160 and a capacitive home button below it. Band 5i supports all Honor Band 5 modes including heart rate measurements and blood oxygen SpO2 sensor in terms of fitness tracking. It also has music playback controls. The screen can show up to 30 characters at a time and you can choose from different watch faces. It has a 91mAh battery that can last 7 to 9 days with one single charge depending on the use of the battery. It is water-resistant to a maximum of 50 meters. You have Bluetooth 4.2 in connectivity, but NFC is not available. The Band 5i is capable of synchronizing any Android 4.4 and iOS 9.0 devices.
The Band 5i will be offered in Coral Pink, Olive Green, and Meteorite Black colors. Honor Band 5i fitness tracker is priced at CNY 159 (~$22).
