It seems as if everybody wants to win the race of folding mobile phones from first-line big names to second-and second-tier brands. Officially last night Tweeted Huawei, who long said it wants to fold mobile phones. The MWC event of Huawei, which apparently refers to the first folding smartphone, was announced in the tweet of 24 February in Barcelona, Germany.
Huawei will launch a new product on 24 February at MWC 2019, according to a pre-heating poster. The poster also shows a suspected folding product, possibly a 5 G pliable smartphone, but a new Notebook or a MediaPad cannot also be excluded.
The rumours of the previous one indicate that a flexible 8.0-inch screen provided by BOE will be used by the foldable mobile phone of Huawei. The 5 G device can be called Mate F, Mate Flex, Mate Flexi and Mate Fold. If folded, the display is left as a smartphone with a five-inch display.
