Yesterday, Realme launched Realme X50 Pro 5G handset in India through an online event on official Youtube channel. Like Sony and other smartphone companies, Realme is also affected by MWC cancellation. This is the second 5G smartphone by the brand, the first device is X50 which is launched only in China, but this Pro variant is released Globally. Major highlights of the smartphone are the Snapdragon 865 with dual-mode 5G, Six cameras, 65W Fast charging, 90Hz refresh rate and more. So, let’s have a look at the specifications
Realme X50 Pro 5G Specifications
First of all, the X50 Pro 5G is equipped with 6.4 inches FHD+ Super AMOLED display which enabled with 90Hz refresh rate. On the top left corner, a pill-shaped punch hole is present housing 32MP (Sony IMX616) primary + 8MP Ultrawide sensor. A fast In-display fingerprint is also under the display for privacy. Realme promises that the fingerprint is blazing fast which unlocks the device in 0.27 seconds. The surface of the display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
Around the back, the handset has a Quad-camera setup on the top left corner, besides the strip, there’s an LED Flashlight is given and at the bottom left corner, a Relame branding is located. Quad-camera is consisting of a 64MP Samsung ISOCELL GW1 main sensor with an aperture of f/1.8. The output of this lens is basically a 16MP because Samsung uses the 4 to 1-pixel binning technology. The second one is an 8MP Ultrawide sensor with an aperture of f/2.3 covers 119 degree Field of View and features PDAF. Underneath this sensor, a 12MP Telephoto lens is also rested which carries f/2.5 aperture and lastly to fulfil Quad-camera a Depth sensor is given which is generally a B/W sensor for background focusing.
One of the major selling points is the Snapdragon 865 SoC which offers dual-mode 5G enabling. Another one is the LPDDR5 RAM which is faster then the previous versions. Talking about the RAM and ROM combinations – Realme X50 Pro 5G is available in 6GB/12GB, 8GB/128GB and a large 12GB/256GB variants. The storage is not regular storage, but it is UFC 3.0 fast storage with TurboWrite and Host Performance Booster. The Realme X50 Pro 5G is, of course, runs Android 10 out of the box with Realme UI 1 on top. Realme also provide vapor colling system for the heavy gaming sessions. Apart from that, NFC and Google Pay is also on the list.
Talking about the battery, Realme X50 Pro 5G is blessed with 4200 mAh battery with an extraordinary 65W Fast charger out of the box. This is very first SuperDart charger offered by Realme in any device. The charger will fill the battery up to 60% in only 20 minutes. My favourite part is the more charger support system, means that this 5G device also supports 18W Qualcomm Quick Charge and Oppo’s 30W VOOC 4.0 as well.
